GETTING TO GHENT ICC
Ghent ICC is centrally located near the international railway station Gent-Sint-Pieters, near the access roads to the E40 and E17 motorways, and just 45 minutes from Brussels Airport. Click here for a clear route description and area map.
GHENT ICC PARKING
There are plenty of parking facilities at and around Ghent ICC. Ghent ICC has its own underground car park with 100 parking spaces during the day and 150 parking spaces during the evening. There are also disabled parking spaces on level -1.
There is public underground parking beneath Sint-Pietersplein with another 700 underground parking spaces within a 10-minute walk from the ICC Ghent.
Brussels National Airport
Ghent is only 45 minutes from the international airport of Zaventem ‘ Brussels Airport”, where flights arrive from and depart to more than 70 destinations.
There are two direct trains per hour between the airport railway station (Brussel-Nationaal-Luchthaven) and the railway station, Ghent-Sint-Pieters (Gent Sint-Pieters station).
In the airport, follow the signs to the railway station, which is below ground level. Buy a ticket for Ghent-Sint-Pieters station at the counter in the train station of the airport or online on www.b-rail.be/main/E/.
You can board the direct train to Ghent (8 minutes before every hour and 9 minutes after the hour) or you can take the shuttle train to Brussels Central Station, which runs every 15 minutes. There, you can change to a train to Ghent-Sint-Pieters.
The first direct train from Brussels Airport departs at 05h52 and arrives at 06h45 at Ghent Sint-Pieters. The last direct train to Brussels Airport departs at 23h09 and arrives at 00h40 at Ghent Sint-Pieters station.

From Ghent –Sint-Pieters Station the Ghent ICC is a short sign-posted walk across Citadel Park.
From Ghent-Sint-Pieters to the town centre take Tram 1 from the station tram platforms in the direction of Korenmarkt-Evergem, or Gentbrugge Stelplaats. It is a short walk to all the hotels in the centre of Ghent from the Korenmarkt.
From the Ghent ICC to the town centre
The nearest tram stop to ICC Ghent is ‘Van Monckhovenstraat’ (about 700 m, see map below). From there take tram 1 to the city centre.
To travel directly from Ghent St-Pietersstation to the centre, also take tram 1.

It is easier to take the bus (n° 55, 58, 70,71, 72, 76, 77, 78) from bus stop Ledeganckstraat (about 200 m, see map below) to Ghent Zuid. It’s a short walk from Ghent Zuid to the historic centre. Or you can take tram 4, 21 or 22 from Ghent Zuid (platform 1) to Ghent Korenmarkt.
Take bus 55/58 at Ghent Zuid on platform 6 to travel to ICC (bus stop Ledeganckstraat), or take buses 70/71/72/76/77/78 on platform 4.

Lijn card: € 14 for 10 single journeys (Each time you get on or transfer, you must validate the card. If several people use the same Lijn card, then you must validate for each person.)
Day pass (1, 3, 5 days): A day pass or multiple days pass is the cheapest ticket if you travel with our buses or trams frequently for 1 or several consecutive days.

The group ticket is intended for groups of five or more who travel together for the entire journey.(Travelling in groups is best after 08:45 a.m. and not between 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.)
City Card: discounted all-in entry ticket to all important monuments, museums and top attractions in Ghent. It includes a boat trip and access to all city buses and trams from De Lijn.

Tickets can be purchased on arrival in Ghent in one of the Lijn-shops (at trainstation Sint-Pieters or in the centre of Ghent: Korenmarkt, Zuid). You can also buy tickets at the tram stops using €3 in change, or directly on the tram from the driver with cash. It is cheaper to purchase the tickets in advance.
